Hello all.
Another query that has bothered me for a while.
No disrespect intended to Jim,but is there any particular reason why he takes lead on certain songs?
I like all he sings on but often wonder what said songs would be like with Michael singing lead. :?:

Cheers Adrian!

I just felt that Jim's vocal talents could be showcased more easily by singing lead on a track rather than hidden beneath background or harmony vocals. After the first time, it has more or less has become tradition.
What might be interesting is if I were to one day re-record those tracks with my vocal, just out of personal curiosity! I say that because it has crossed my mind as well over the years.

Some bands could be rather happy to have a lead singer like Jim Gilmore.
SAGA has the oportunity to have a second singer , who makes some songs more interesting and different from the others.
On the other hand it would be interesting to hear the Gilmore songs performed by Michael, as well as it would be interesting to hear some Michael-Songs performed by Jim...especially the softer ones.
Sagafan since 1979 and still alive :-)
